Ranveer Singh plays a RAW agent who is on a risky mission in Pakistan. Many people believe the film tells a true story based on Captain Mohit Sharma, but Aditya Dhar has cleared the air and stated that it is not about him. Meanwhile, the plot takes place in Lyari, Pakistan, where Ranveer Singh leads a mission to dismantle a terrorist network. ‘Dhurandhar’ is an out-and-out action movie with an emotional touch.

‘Dhurandhar’ Movie Advance Booking
‘Dhurandhan’ is said to be releasing with more than 2200 shows on the first day of its release. The day one booking showed a promising sale of 9274 tickets, which grossed Rs. 46.02 lakhs, according to Sacnilk. The total gross ticket sales are Rs 1.99 Cr, including blocked seats.
The movie will have its OTT release on 30th January 2026, and Netflix has acquired the streaming rights of the action thriller.
‘Dhurandhar’ Movie Runtime And Overseas Rating
The makers will release Dhurandhar in two parts, each with a clear beginning and ending. The first part is releasing on 5th December, with a runtime of 212 minutes and 2 seconds. The makers expect the second part to hit the silver screen in mid-2026. Dhurandhar has an 18+ overseas rating with a disclaimer of strong violence.
With a running time of more than three and a half hours, Dhurandhar seems to be too long. But if the plot is gripping and interesting, the length of the movie hardly matters. ‘Animal’ had a running time of three hours and twenty-one minutes, but it turned out to be one of the biggest hits of Ranbir Kapoor’s career.
