Today, part of it welcomes guests as the luxury hotel ‘Castle Mandawa’. The inner part is beautiful with mirror carvings on the roof and walls. Harlalka Well

The Harlalka family constructed the Harlalka Well in the 18th century. The wealthy family lived here in the 18th and 19th centuries. The well is in the quite nook of Makwana. Local people say it’s more profound than the ocean and its water is clear. Prayers made here often come true. There is no temple or priest here but if one stands on the edge with closed eyes and makes a wish, the well fulfills it. There are no barriers or any railings here, so it’s better to be very careful while visiting the well.
