Djokovic Has 24 Grand Slam Titles To His Name

Novak Djokovic is currently ranked no 4 in the ATP rankings, and he has 24 Grand Slam Titles. He started playing professional tennis in 2003 and has been going great guns ever since. Djokovic is one short of 25 grand slams, and he was quite close to achieving the milestone yesterday. He has the record of playing in 38 Grand Slam finals.

Djokovic Hints at Retirement

Djokovic hints at retirement at the closing ceremony of the Australian Open. He said, “God knows what happens tomorrow, let alone in six months or 12 months. So it has been a great ride. I love you guys,” He added, “It’s been a fantastic tournament. I knew I’d probably have to beat two of them (Alcaraz and Sinner) to win. I beat one, which is great, so it’s a step further than last year. Very nice, encouraging. But not enough for me.” Addressing his fans at the Australian Open, he said, “You guys (the fans) gave me something, particularly the last couple of matches, with the love and support. I try to give you back with good tennis over the years. This, I think, was my 21st year coming to Australia. I always believe in myself, which is something that is truly needed when you play against incredible players like I have the last few days.”
