The first look at Formula 1 Drive to Survive Season 8 has been released. The series continues to act as a way for new audiences to discover Formula 1, even as long-time fans question the ‘creative choices’ made in portraying life inside the paddock.

Drive to Survive Season 8 opens around Formula 1’s anniversary celebrations in London, using the occasion to introduce a the rookies and tease the high profile move of Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari. Early episodes are about the sport’s ruthless nature, where rookies face swift promotions and demotions. The season then turns to McLaren, framing internal tension as both drivers push into title contention.
Later episodes cover leadership falter at Red Bull and a strong start by Williams. An episode also focuses on the close fight between Mercedes and Ferrari. The season builds towards a finale that includes the events of Las Vegas, disqualifications, and a championship battle.
