Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna landed in Udaipur along with a small group of guests on Monday. Pre-wedding celebrations began on 24th February at the luxurious ITC Mementoes, Udaipur. The wedding is fondly titled VIROSH, and only people close to the couple are invited.
Here is a list of confirmed celebrity guests-
Sandeep Vanga Reddy: Sandeep directed Vijay’s movie ‘Arjun Reddy’ and Rashmika’s movie ‘Animal’. Both films were path-breaking in their respective careers.
Anand DeVerakonda: Telugu actor and Vijay’s brother Anand has reached Udaipur, and he is hosting the wedding ceremony.
Thakur Bhascker: The director of Vijay’s 2016 blockbuster ‘Pelli Chooulu’ shares a good bond with the actor.
Eesha Rebba: A popular Kannada actress, also reached Udaipur along with actress Ashika Rangnath.
Rahul Ravindran: A famous director, has arrived at the wedding with his wife. Rahul directed Rashmika in ‘The Girlfriend’
Wedding Invite Goes Viral
Vijay’s wedding invite is going viral on the net, which is rumoured to be true. The invite reads, “I’m writing to share some special news and to invite you to be part of a huge moment. With the love and blessings of our families, Rashmika and I will be getting married on 26.02.26 in a small and intimate ceremony. As we begin this new chapter- celebrating and creating memories around our union- it would truly mean a lot to us to celebrate with those who have been a part of our journeys. Your presence and blessings would make this occasion even more special for us.”
Wedding Festivities
The main functions begin on 25th February
Haldi: Haldi ceremony will happen in the afternoon.
Mehendi: Mehendi ceremony is scheduled in the evening.
They’re going to have the wedding on the 26th of February.
Wedding Ceremony: A traditional Telugu wedding in the morning, followed by the Kodava ceremony in the evening.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have invited a few close friends and relatives to their wedding. The couple have decided to keep their wedding a private affair, and the guests are not allowed to carry their mobiles, cameras or any other recording gadgets at the venue. Talking about cuisine, the guests will be served traditional South Indian food on banana leaves.
