One is we are without our three most experienced players, or we have this phenomenal opportunity to do something special for the country.” The team will surely miss the experienced captain because they have faced this kind of situation many times.

K.L. Rahul and Rishabh Pant have played tests in English conditions. Sai Sudarshan, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Karun Nair play for the first time on English pitches.
Bumraah is available for 3 matches. Even Shami is not inside. Bowlers like Akash Deep, Siraj and Arshdeep are good as support bowlers with Bumrah but they cannot be termed as match winners.
The Indian team can perform well if they play with a plan. A young team with a new captain can deliver good results. The batsmen and bowlers should adjust to the conditions to achieve the positive results he has. Mohammed Shami is not in the squad as well.
