Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal have been associated in Hindi movies for more than 30 years and they have worked together in more than 20 memorable and entertaining films. But this time they are in the headlines for unfounded causes.
Akshay and Paresh share a good bond with each other. Hera Pheri’s new edition was announced and Akshay is the producer and also the lead actor. The film is loved for its comedy.

Where It Went Downhill
But suddenly, on 16th May, Paresh announced that he was no longer part of the movie Hera Pheri 3. He explained that he’d left the project as he did not like the script and did not want to play such a character now. As a result, Akshay’s production company, Cape of Good Films, is suing Paresh for Rs. 25 crores for breaking the contract and leaving the film. The notice alleges Paresh had already started shooting for his iconic character Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in April, and all of a sudden, he left the film.
Akshay has allegedly mentioned in the notice that the senior actor has behaved unprofessionally. His production house will suffer a huge financial loss, and the film will have a negative impact because of Paresh’s unprofessional behavior. Paresh has apparently broken the binding nature of the contract.

Why Did Paresh Quit?
Paresh has clarified that he has nothing against Priyadarshan and he has a huge respect for the director. Few months back he had mentioned in media that he did not like the way Phir Hera Pheri was made. He would often tell the director of Phir Hera Pheri that the film looked over filled with scenes that he didn’t find funny, especially the circus bit.
Paresh said that sequels should not just be made to hoard money but should be made with a lot of care. In his opinion, after the first part, the film lost the one thing that made it special- simplicity. Let’s see how this controversy ends with both Akshay and Paresh currently maintaining dignity. We want all the three together and everything gets sorted.
