Dhadak 2 has secured 1000 screens around India with advance booking open. 12,000 tickets were sold out on BookMyShow in an hour with big discounts on bookings.
Son of Sardar 2 gets 2500 screens all over India. The producers wanted to release it with 3500 screens but the screens got split due to Dhadak 2. Advance booking has been reasonably good, with 1.26 lakh tickets sold for the first day, and the movie is offering a 50 percent discount on tickets for the first day on BookMyShow.
Who will win the box office race?
Both films are trying to outshine each other by offering discounts to the viewers on the day 1 of their release. Son of Sardar 2 looks to have an edge initially with its star power and more screens. Dhadak 2 can pick up with word-of-mouth publicity, and the storyline is also a big plus ,which caters to the youth.
