What I’m Wearing This Month: July 2025 Fashion Trends That Just Work

Hey hey there, peps! Today I’m covering the top 4 fashion trends of July 2025! Fashion this month feels refreshingly doable. There’s nothing over the top, nothing exhausting. Just easy trends that fit into real-life wardrobes and you know what, these won’t go out in a couple weeks. These picks are stylish without being high-maintenance. Here’s what’s actually trending in a way that makes sense for us.

Here are my top 4 July 2025 fashion trends-

Pastels

Pastels are no longer just for vintage tea parties. They’ve evolved. So, these soft, airy shades have been around since the early 20th century, but now they’re styled in more unexpected ways. Marc Jacobs’ Fall 2025 show made pastels look grown-up and bold, pairing lilac lace with huge bows and experimenting with exaggerated shapes. You could maybe use soft shades styled with contrast. A pale blue shirt with dark trousers. A blush-pink kurta with chunky sneakers. They’re here to balance softness with structure. The best part? You probably already own something pastel. Just try it with something oversized or rougher in texture, and you’re already in the zone.

Sheer Skirts

Sheer skirts have become surprisingly wearable and they might be replacing satin flowy dresses. The idea of see-through fashion goes way back in history, but designers like Nensi Dojaka and Ganni have updated it into something much more approachable. We’re seeing sheer overlays, built-in linings, and layers that let you play with texture instead of just showing skin. For everyday wear, go with a sheer layer over shorts or even leggings. Pair it with a basic tank or cropped blouse. If you’re feeling bolder, lean into transparency with a slip skirt underneath. Sheer doesn’t have to be intimidating. It can be light, breathable, and surprisingly low-effort. A breezy sheer skirt can make even a plain top feel styled. Another pro is that there are levels of transparency. There are options available that are only slightly transparent.

White Tank Tops

This isn’t news to anyone. White tanks have officially gone from basic to basically iconic and that also applies to July 2025 trends. Tank tops can be styled under sheer tops, paired with blazers or vests, tucked into flowy skirts, or styled with joggers. It’s the kind of piece that just works. The best ones are square neck tops, ribbed, slightly thick (but not too warm), and fitted enough to layer without bunching. They’re also affordable, which means you can stock up without guilt. Throw one on with oversized jeans, add a bag you love, and any accessories you own (silver or gold, you can rock both). It’s probably the easiest style move you can make this month.

Powder Pink

Powder pink is one of those shades that quietly shows up everywhere once you start noticing it be it as casual outfits or events. This soft, muted pink has a history.  European aristocrats in the 1700s wore it as a status symbol, and later it became a staple of femininity. In 2025, it’s back thanks to Miu Miu’s pink and Alaïa. Today’s version works for street style just as well as it does for small events. I’d suggest trying it in co-ords, wide trousers, oversized shirts, or casual dresses with clean silhouettes. It feels gentle but still looks put-together. I love it best with off-white, beige, or light grey. If you’re tired of bold colours but want something beyond black and navy, powder pink might be the middle ground you didn’t know you needed.

So those are the trends I’m actually wearing, not just saving to a folder and forgetting about. They’re comfortable, repeatable, and just fun enough to keep fashion interesting right now. What are you loving this July? Any trend you’ve tried and instantly regretted? Or something you didn’t expect to like but now can’t stop wearing? Drop your thoughts in the comments. I’d love to hear what your wardrobe is looking like these days.
